Missouri Valley Conference Basketball Referee Camp

Jimmy Casas, Jeff Pfaff, and I are currently in Tulsa Oklahoma at the Missouri Valley Conference Basketball Referee Camp. The camp is held at Oral Roberts University. It is 3 days long and we have just completed the first day. The understanding of the process is that if you are in the top 25 officials in the camp you will be selected to go to Danville, IL to referee another tournament. If you are fortune enough to be asked to move on you will be selected to work the Division II Juco tournament in March.

Jimmy Casas did exactly what he had to do today at camp today to show why he works in the Mountain West and the Pac-10. Pfaff didnt hurt his chances today either.

The level of basketball consists of AAU basketball teams and JUCO players. All of these players are trying out in front of college coaches trying to showcase there skills and open some new doors.
