Big Sky Basketball Referee Camp

Yesterday was the first of referee camp for the Big Sky. We checked in around 5:30 and had meetings from 6 - 10. The first day was very good. Tommy Nunez, Sr talked to us about the journey. He has such a great story and you can tell everything is from the heart.

The 2nd part of the meeting was part of the staff members in the Big Sky each took a section on Leadership. It was great to hear everyones prespective. The discussion point were:

1. What prevents us from becoming the ulitmate teammate

2. What is the BIG picture?

3. The power of effective communication

4. Leadership myths

5. Principles of “LEADING UP”

6. Principles of “LEADING ACROSS”

7. Principles of “LEADING DOWN”

I wont give any more detail in these talking points as this is the reason we go to camp….to learn
