iPhone New Version Release

As you can tell I am obsessed with the iphone right now. I have wanted this thing for over a month now but I have restrained myself because of 2 issues right now.

1. 3G network - In early 2008 it is rumored that Apple will have iPhones on this network. For those of you who have bought one already….sorry if you want to be on this network you will have to buy another.

b. ActiveSync - Right now the iPhone does not allow you to sync your phones calendar and contact until you hook up with a USB connection. Not that this is HUGE for me but it is something I would like to see the iPhone have. I believe this tool is going to be GREAT for the season ahead and I will be playing with the calender more to see how effectively I can use it for my basketball referring calender….and how it will sync with MS exchange which is where my basketball calender is right now.

• Louder speakerphone and receiver volume
• Home Button double-click shortcut to phone favorites or music controls
• Space bar double-tap shortcut to intelligently insert period and space
• Mail attachments are viewable in portrait and landscape
• Stocks and cities in Stocks and Weather can be re-ordered
• Apple BlueTooth Headset battery status in the Status Bar
• Support for TV Out
• Preference to turn off EDGE/GPRS when roaming internationally
• New Passcode lock time intervals
• Adjustable alert volume
